You wanna see an irl kpop boy group doing a dark Korean folklore concept??? Look no further than A.C.E! Their track & M/V for "Goblin - (Favorite Boys)" is exactly this:
Goblins - 'dokkaebi' - are powerful mythological Korean beings whom often possess inanimate objects and who may appear in front of humans; they may either help or hinder them. The entire "HJZM: The Butterfly Phantasy" mini-album was promoted and performed with this aesthetic!!
Also, group leader Park Junhee just released a cover for the Saja Boy's "Your Idol" from the film, today! He's nailed it! (I'm linking the official Goblin M/V under the read-more, but I prefer the imagery in the directors' cut, above.)
