Goblin Week 2026 - #2: Mountain Goblin Checklist

Collectible toy sets would often have different factions the characters belong to. For my (fake/made up) toy concept, Bag of Goblins, each faction is a goblin civilization that lives in a different biome.

The more powerful characters are usually more rare, so I split up each civilization into 3 rarities: workers (common), warriors (uncommon), and leaders (rare).

Mountain Goblin Lore:

Mountain goblins tend to be more orange or tan rather than the typical green. Dark, stone-like scales form ridges along their ears, noses, limbs, and spines. They are also known for their more prominent fangs compared to other goblins.

Their primary industry has traditionally been mining due to the abundance of mineral resources in their territory. Recent discoveries deep in the mines have also led to rapid advancement in the fields of metallurgy and alchemy.

Their leader, King Ironspine wears a menacing crown of assorted spikes and blades as he admires his prize possession, The Orb of Explosions.
