Dawnathy

♡this is my most recent digital reference for my unicorn shifter oc dawnathy♡

♡i've actually been workshopping the concept for this character for a few months now♡

♡so far, the main idea i have for dawn is that she's a unicorn shifter with cotton candy-colored hair♡

♡so, i was gonna go on hiatus on this blog, but i did a quick self reflection, and i decided to come back, mostly because i need to make an update♡

♡i'm sorry. i know i said i wouldn't look back but i have had twitter for a bit and i realized that it may not be a good idea to completely get rid of my account with all the stuff i have on there. the real reason i deactivated it in the first place was partly about some of criticism towards glitch's new pilot gameoverse and just in general twitter's reputation♡

♡i'm someone who picked up doing background art sometime back in 2025. i'm going for a brightly-colored, soft, pastel, vintage-look for my art, specifically something like care bears, a franchise i've been getting into lately♡

♡as someone who was a part of a tumblr community for small artists, i think tumblr should make it so that on your blog, you can see all of the posts you made for whatever communities you're in♡

♡when i left my community, i had to delete all of my posts i made for that community as leaving the community wouldn't automatically do it for me. i'm pretty sure i got all of them, but i don't really want to live with uncertainty♡

♡because of this, i think tumblr should make a feature that lets you keep track of your community posts♡

♡a few months ago, i watched "who framed roger rabbit" for the first time. the movie was alright. it wasn't really my cup of tea (i do like roger's personality though)♡

♡something i really liked about the movie though was mickey mouse and bugs' bunny skydiving as friends. it was a little moment, but as someone that's mostly exposed anti-disney propaganda (not that it isn't deserved or anything) that demonizes mickey mouse, this was so cathartic to watch♡

♡i don't care what the disney company is right now. mickey mouse is a kind and goodhearted toon that would never stand for what happened to his creator's company. dni if you think mickey mouse the character is just as greedy and morally bankrupt as the disney company♡

♡wakfu season 4 review♡

♡i gave season 4 of wakfu a chance, and i gotta say, i don't regret it at all. season 4 was WAAAAYYYYY better than season 3♡

♡i've sorted my feelings on this season through pros and cons, and while it may not look like it, i do have more pros than cons. it only doesn't look that way because i have a long tangent about the goddess eliatrope in the cons section♡

⚠️SPOILERS BELOW⚠️

✅️the pros✅️

♡nora is awesome! i really like her! i think she's my favorite character💞 super glad her and her brother efrim reunited. i was kinda afraid that they would part for good. glad that wasn’t the case😌♡

♡we finally get to see the other races again. i guess the world of twelve, its inhabitants, and the cultures are one of the things i love most about the amaknaverse♡

♡it feels way more colorful and vibrant this season😊🌈🎨♡

♡i like how ruel's wife arpagone is paying him back by giving away his kama fortune. she could have kept all them kamas to herself as an enutrof, but she's choosing the former instead. i think that's the best kind of revenge😎♡

♡it was nice seeing flopin trying to give his grandfather a chance, even if his mother wasn't crazy about that. it's a nice show of character👍🏾 hope he finds what he’s looking for♡

♡i'm very proud of the woman, or rather 👑queen👑, that amalia is becoming. while she's nowhere close to being a favorite of mine, i'm glad to see her improvement♡

♡armand got character development yay :D may he rip though😔♡

♡i was not expecting quilby to get character development. good for him though😳👍🏾♡

♡i still don't really care for yumalia🙄😒, but at least yugo looks his age now :)♡

❌️the cons❌️

♡i'm not crazy about the dub. some of the line delivery felt weird and wonky, like that one adamai line when he was dealing with the bandits. that just felt off😣♡

♡i really don't like evangelyne's father. how could he spend all those years out of his children's lives, come back, and one of the first things he does is tell tristepin/percedal to leave his family? who is he to decide who is right for his daughter? looks like he wants his son-in-law to follow in his footsteps ig😠😒♡

♡i wanna see more of the enirispas. they're my favorite amakna race, and i really hate how there isn't an enirispa main character. i mean, there was lady/dame echo, but i didn't even know she was an enirispa until i looked her up in the wiki. she looks more dragon than fairy🧚🏾🧚🏾🧚🏾♡

♡goddess eliatrope tangent♡

♡the goddess eliatrope...look, i want to express how i feel about her but considering what's happened to her, i'm really scared people are going to see this tangent on her as victim blaming and not listen to my points, so let me clarify:

♡i am NOT blaming the goddess for what happened to her. being sent to a dimension far away from her children and being forced to feed a bunch of never satisfied life-sucking vampires was a terrible thing to have happened to her, and i hope that the gods get punished for this (even though they probably won't)♡

♡however, i really don't like that she was willing to leave the world of twelve to deal with the necros after promising to make the world a better place. i get that she has the flight mindset when it comes to trauma, but it felt selfish, especially considering the necros were only able to reach the world of twelve because of her♡

♡i also really don't like that she was willing to leave yugo behind when he got stuck in the necros dimension. i understand that being in the dimension herself has traumatized her deeply, but she's still a mother and a goddess on top of that. it just rubs me the wrong way, seeing her willing to leave yugo for dead and not even trying to go after him, even if she's right to fear doing so♡

♡again, i'm not blaming her for her trauma, and she does have to think about the little baby eliatropes in her. i'm just glad yugo told her off in the 11th episode. it was very cathartic♡

♡conclusion♡

♡overall, this is a huge step up from season 3. i'm so glad i gave this season another chance. i can't wait to see season 5. i really love the amakna verse💞💞💞♡
