Day 4 Prompts: Holding Hands; Forever
This is inspired by the idea here. I loved the imagery of it and wanted to try my own hand at something in the same vein.
Anyway:
𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘁〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
The tip of his fingers twitched as his head was repeatedly banged against the rocky obsidian walls, His body filled to the brim with bruises and cuts, yet. His face stayed emotionless. His hair was yanked to look at the ravenette.
"Tch-" The man spoke as he let go of the prisoner's blond hair with specks of blood littered across. The duck hybrid unseized a glimmering purple sword with a shimmering lavender hue as he had an ear to ear grin standing before the prisoner.
The prisoner watched with unfazed eyes as the sword was lifted above his head... And was stabbed against his chest. The ravenette watched the prisoner with narrowed eyes as he spat blood and stayed neutral, It was concerning.
"Sit up," the duck hybrid scowled in a demanding tone. The blond's lips formed into a small smirk, infuriated. The ravenette tightened his fist and took a step closer to the prisoner. He gritted his teeth as he smashed his fists against the blond's head.
As the fist collided with his head, the back of his head was forced against the walls of his cell. The blond's head drooped to the side, with eyes threatening to close. The duck hybrid kneeled to face the prisoner and gripped his chin to make the blond make eye contact.
His piercing gaze watched the dull and lifeless green eyes straying away to look at other places, A scoff escaped the man's lips as he let go of the man's chin as he shoved it away.
The ravenette stood up, tucking away his sword in the process. Staring at the man below him, he scrunched his nose as he shook his tender golden wings before turning around, making his way to leave the warm, dreadful cell.
"Sam, I'm done." The duck hybrid spoke on a communicator, After doing so, he was left staring at the bubbling lava. The sound of dull silence lingered around the room besides the popping and blubbering of the lava.
Soon enough, the lava settled down as the bridge emerged from the lava, He took a stride towards the obsidian. He had no care for the man a few yards behind him as he didn't look back, He kept his gaze high whilst walking with the bridge to the other side.
He was met with the creeper hybrid with a serious expression. The duck hybrid felt the warmth of the lava crept behind him, notifying him the lava fell back down. His boots clinked against the obsidian floors as he and Sam went farther from the main cell.
In the cell, there was sat a man with his head held low...
He leisurely raised his head.
A grin creeping up on his face.
"Oh Quackity, that was fun seeing you frustrated..." He chuckled to himself.
"Till next time..."
———
"Are you really gonna let him mess with those innocent mortals?" A black figure said, coming up to the taller being. "He's just having fun." The god chuckled, "They're getting more paranoid, even if he's 'captive'." The black figure spoke solemnly stated to the taller.
The god gave a sigh as he stared into the glowing white eyes of the demon hybrid beside him. "I heard their gonna 'execute' him soon," the god said, "I'll get him then." The taller strictly said.
The demon hybrid gave him a happy grin and continued his duties.
———
The tortures continued...
The grin of that dumb duck never faded...
He believes that I've has been broken.
———
"Quackity calm down-" Sam demanded as he watched the duck hybrid having an outburst. "He's such a pain in the ass." Quackity blurted out as he slammed his fist against the wooden table. "His execution is in a few days, If he doesn't give the revive book by then. Well-" Sam added, "-We can't do much, Most of the SMP voted for him to be executed."
In a blinded rage Quackity left without a word leaving the creeper hybrid in the giant prison alone. The warden kept composed and continued his duties around the prison.
Once Quackity left the security of the prison, A shiver went down his spine, could it be the temperature?
He noticed the clouds darkened, The grass was stiff and prickly. The atmosphere was still, He continued walking with narrowed eyes glancing around the empty quiet world.
He was focused, too focused. On his surroundings he suddenly bumped into another blond, Tommy. "Gah-" Quackity yelped as he stumbled back, He shook his head as he regained his posture. The ravenette looked up to the blond as he saw swear dribble down his forehead and the uneven breathing of the child.
"Tommy, You okay?" The shorter asked the taller, Suddenly without a word Tommy ran away muttering something. Quackity contemplated of following before it began to rain and he went to seek shelter.
———
"Get up." Sam ordered, venom laced across his words. The prisoner did as told, leisurely getting up and heading towards the creeper hybrid. He was harshly tugged away, Walking across the intimidating interiors of the prison.
He squinted his eyes, as he started adjusting to the sudden change of lighting. The prisoner blinked multiple times once his eyes got used to the blinding light of the sun, His gaze looked over to the crowd or people. Multiple looks met him, some people had disdain written on their face. Other's had hatred and others paid no mind to his presence.
Dream watched as the young goat hybrid climb up the stage he was standing on and started delivering a speech. He looked at the creeper hybrid whom held him in a firm grasp, Suddenly kicking him down to his knees.
The speech was fuzzy and unheard by the blond as he stared into the forest to their side, He raised his eyebrow when he saw the god, DreamXD? What was he doing here.
Suddenly the skies darkened as the god dissipated leaving specks of purple glowing embers behind, In a sudden flash when Tubbo's speech came to an end a blinding flash of lightning, struck on the stage. The member's of the SMP erupted in gasps and yelps as they saw a figure appear on stage.
"XD!?" A person from the crowd yelled, who was none other than Georgenotfound himself. "Mhm, Yes. Hi George." The god replied blandly whilst averting his gaze to the prisoner.
"Why hello dear brother~" He said looking at him with a smug look. "Brother!?" A child from the crowd blurted with anger bubbling in him, "Why yes, Your so called tormentor is my brother." He said earning a groan from the other.
"Why are you even here XD." Dream questioned the taller. "Halo wants you to come back home, He thinks you've had your fun." XD said with slight annoyance. "Aww really?" The prisoner's voice changed, It sounded slightly like static and his voice went lower.
The crowd stood still, confused about the two. Most couldn't comprehend the god, whom was their protector be related to their villain. "Shouldn't you just reveal yourself?" The taller asked his brother with a smirk, "Why not?"
The air went still...
Members of the SMP watched intently, Unmoving.
A screeching crack was heard as the chains wrapped around the prisoner's wrist shattered, It fell to the ground with a clack. The chain's dangled weakly against the prisoner's wrists.
Dream clasped his arms together and bowed his head, His body glitched his form being swallowed in a green glow. The member's of the SMP turned their heads away as a weird glitching sound came. Once they turned their heads gasps fell from their mouths.
The supposed tyrant stood with royal green outfit, looking similar to XD although still with his signature smiley mask. A netherite axe strapped to his back with long sharp tail behind him. Long black horns with a hue of green protruded his head and poked above in his hair.
"My name is Dream, The admin and one of the god's of this server."

I'll work on the Sacrifice part 2 in a bit😅
Dream is a god that once of age he has to come down to Earth and choose a champion, just like every other god in The Primelands. It should be easy, he just has to find a strong, wise, independent leader that will surely complete several noble quests and be known as a hero-
Then he sees Tommy.
This annoying little kid, not even older then 10 (honestly, Dream isn't even sure how old they are-), just runs up to him, a giant god, and starts to yell at him. It's something unheard of for any mortal to do- for who would ever run up to a giant that could kill them on an instant and purposely try to annoy them? It's idiotic, it's foolish, it's- it's-
....
No mortal is supposed to be able to see any of the gods.
Once Dream realizes this after a few hours of this kid annoyingly climbing all over his head (they wouldn't leave so he had put Tommy onto his shoulder as to not step on them), and now had to wonder why this mortal child could see him? He now had so many questions- but all could easily be answered in time.... If he made them his champion.
With a resigned sigh, Dream then chose Tommy. An eight year old child. As his champion.
Dream then knew he needed to take Tommy home so they could start training in the mortal realm with their new powers gained from being a champion- but the god quickly discovered a huge problem. Tommy was an orphan, and not just that but the orphanage he lived at was netorious for selling children off to be servants once old enough- servants that almost always died after doing one job.
And so, with even more resentment- Dream is forced to take Tommy with him into the woods to raise them (since he can't take Tommy to The Primelands as far as he knows- gods only-). It'll be fine, it's not like Dream will actually get attached to this kid or anything! Obviously he won't! If Tommy dies it doesn't matter he can just get a new champion because Dream will very much so obviously not get attached!!!
...
Right :)
more prime god! dream but this time with pant slits on the side!!
ALSO THANK YOU ALL FOR 100 FOLLOWERS, I really appreciate it and I’ll try to make something in commemoration <3
God!Dream is the reason I watch this series and not enough people understand how fun it is viewing this character through the lens of a bored trickster deity inviting on multiple people from different worlds to his server into battles and infighting for his own amusement
Like, not even other gods existing. I don't want Technoblade being a deity, I want the blood god to be in name only. I want Dream to be as endless as time, as infinite as the world itself and I want him to be lonely as he cathartically destroys and manipulates
With perhaps the bonus angst of only caring about one or two mortal people on accident (do I even have to say who?)
dream is doing just fine.
the prison isn’t going to break him.
he’s never going to be too lonely to go on.
it doesn’t matter if he isn’t properly fed or if the cell is dull and boring.
it’s always been lonely at the top, after all. this is no different to how he’s always lived, and it doesn’t matter one bit.
he’s a god, everything about this just seems so silly. it will never affect him in the way everyone expects it to—the way everyone wants it to.
maybe one day it will hurt, maybe one day he’ll grow bored, but that day is so far into the future that it’s utterly unfathomable. for now, this just fun.
going on strike is fun, goading sam into giving him clock after clock is fun, throwing himself into lava every so often is fun, pretending to be broken is fun. his voice may grow hoarse from disuse, sam may grow more and more peeved with every visit, the lava may burn, and the pity on the faces of everyone he knows may wound his pride ever so slightly, but in the end, it doesn’t matter. he’ll laugh to himself, and it will pass. forever isn’t that long, after all, and he would know. he’s experienced forever countless times before, and he still hasn’t broken.
besides, sapnap is right. he’s tough. there’s no way he doesn’t make it through this, especially not since he’s still in control of everything. as long as he remains in control, it will never stop being fun.
alone with his thoughts, there’s not much to do other than consider these facts and scheme. after weeks in here, he’s come up with countless plots to escape. only a select few are even potentially viable, but that hardly matters. one day, someone will slip up, one of his plans will work, and he’ll get out.
he schemes about what’s going to happen after that, too. even stuck in here, he’s kept a loose hold on all the most important strings. the moment he’s out, they’ll be safely back in his iron fist. nothing will have changed. his stay in prison won’t have mattered because gods do not break.
so yes, dream truly is doing just fine :)
"Shame."
