Does anybody else find it difficult to call themselves "American," and walking with that association, knowing all the blood and corruption associated with that title? It's weird, there's like a textbook America, but then there's the real America, with ppl who do believe in the ideological version and put it to practice everyday. There's so many sub-classifications, that I feel must make it impossible for outsiders to know whos who. They try to brainwash u into loving and worshiping a flag/country/people who have literally never loved you back. They try to get you to commit ur salvation to a falsely represented, and strangely biased God that they teach u about, whos desires, (which we somehow know) are coincidentally far more advantageous to certain demographics. Lucky for some of us, OUR God speaks to us in a language that his children are meant to understand and despite the misrepresentations, shows us how to still love and prevail. I no longer really feel the need to be identified as "African American." Even that has a subtle underlying pseudo tone of possession. I don't see everybody being, chinese-american, Indian-American. Hell, Africa is a continent! As far as I'm concerned I'm literally just African! My people were moved to a certain place a cpl hundred yrs ago but that does not change our God given ethnicity. They just want more separation between us! We must stay "United" tho... from now on, I'm either Black or African. I don't need America taking credit for anything my people have endowed me with!!! ✊✊✊ *sorry for the morning rant, but I woke up with it on my spirit! #GodBlessSyria
