The CORUNDUM OGRE drops a pretty good amount of grist, and  upon collecting it, you take a few steps up your ECHELADDER from MIFFED MULLIGRUB to ICY AGELAST. Your grist cache size increases, and you are awarded the amazing sum of 500 BOONDOLLARS!  Actually you have no idea what the exchange on the colorful coins is, but 500 sounds like a pretty decent amount to you. You've been steadily climbing this echeladder thing ever since you started this game, pretty much exclusively by killing imps. The fake-looking monopoly money you've been getting from leveling up hasn't come in handy yet, and you don't feel noticeably stronger at the moment.  ==> With that done, you decide it's about time you went through that portal. Your serve finally gave you the means to get up there, and you made sure that your client will be able to reach it when her time comes. You begin to ascend the stairs, and quickly realize that this is going to be absolute ass. They are just wide enough for you to walk on, but with no margin of error for foot placement -- apparently, railings were too much to ask for. Also, as you observed earlier, the concept of 'landings' seems to have escaped your client. The stairs continue up until a certain point, and then drop off into space, flanked by another staircase continuing in the opposite direction, and so and so forth until the portal. Halfway to your goal, your PORTATOP informs you that someone is pestering you. Oh no. It's him again.
