I love that trope in cartoons nowadays where the main character, who is an only child, gains multiple non-human/human-adjacent siblings
#okay but its in literally all the cartoons I like#Jim in toa gets draal and like douxie if you want to consider them brothers#Steven in su gets amethyst and peridot#hilda gets tontu and baba (yes theyre sisters dont @ me)#and in too you've got luz and her veritable army of brothers#*toh#goddamn autocorrection#(it was like three at last count and I love that)#GOD its such a good trope#that and the surrogate parent trope#beans rambles
