I’M ALMOST THERE

I'M EXCITED FOR YOU. That's my favorite episode so far. And it's very effective if you are alone and tired and a wimp and in your empty apartment, there is a door to a dark room at the end of a hallway, and the door is open, and to close it so that the darkness can't look at you, you need to walk down the dark hallway towards it, and as you get closer, this seems like what whatever's in the darkness wants, and DON'T LIVE ALONE IS MY FUCKING POINT

Kairo is absolutely one of my favorite movies of all time. And I agree with the American Grudge, it just had a more cohesive plotline. Same director/writer, though so I don’t have to feel guilty.

I still haven't watched Ringu though and I'm beating myself up for it. But I didn't particularly care for the American one.

FUCKING ASIAN HORROR MAN I'm really excited about Kairo because I haven't seen it yet but I've heard a lot about it.

there is maybe one Asian movie that I preferred the adaptation to. I liked the American Grudge better ;n; I don't know what it was, maybe it's because I watched it first and they're so similar? The original had a worse effect on me, though, because I watched it by myself in someone else's apartment while their two-year old slept in the next room.
