Another goddess to introduce you all to today.
This is Goddess Oonagh, she is the ancient Irish queen of the faeries, and also a potent Goddess of magic. Oonagh is the most beautiful of all Goddesses, she had long silky hair and a robe of silver and dew, She brings the Fae into our lives to remind us of the unseen worlds. She allows us to awaken the child within us that dares dream and wish.
You can call upon Oonagh to assist you with beauty, dance, divine magic, exercise and motivation, faeries, and loving relationships. She loves to dance, especially outside, so a good way to invoke her would be to dance outside, in amongst nature. You could wear flowy/freeing clothes, glitter and bells when dancing to invoke Goddess Oonagh.
On November 11th, the Fae celebrate one of their holidays called Lunantishees. This would be the best day to call upon and lave offerings for Oonagh. You may also honour this day by wearing green, which is a Fae favourite colour, wear some pleasant sounding bells that gently jingle when you walk and carry around a staurolite stone, this stone is also known and the fairy cross. The stone will bring luck to the wearer. Leave out offerings such as cake, butter, milk or ale outside your door on on a windowsill, in order to procure the Lunantishees good favour and advert mischief they can cause.
