I so wish we got to see Attolia's inner perspective in the books more because she's married to a God.
Like, Gen is dangerous, sure, but mostly because he unforeseeably tends to get possessed by his patron God on every other random occasion. And Attolia just has to casually put up with that.
Attolia, however, is dangerous because she made herself dangerous. She dresses herself like the Great Goddess without having asked first, And that is something else entirely. Preposterous yet ballsy.
Also, she has such grace about Godgenides. Do you think she learns to spot when the God is present, and do you think she handles her husband differently when he is? Does she love Gen extra tenderly when he collapses exhausted from what the God did through him after he leaves? Does she sometimes tell off the God, commanding him to let go of her hubby because now is certainly not the time?
We may see glimpses but I want detaillls
