The ringing in his ears didn't stop as the young boy walks listlessly through the mud-soaked terrain. Unaware of the destroyed buildings behind him, ignoring the dead corpses and pieces of people behind him. Everything was blurry and only the colors of gray, white, and black lay before him as the rain water stung his eyes as well as the open fresh wound on his head.Ā
His mind was blank and his senses were completely dulled. But his only instinct was to walk forward, into the unknown barren land. The cold mud sank into his shoes through the openings of his sandals and his tiny frail body was completely drenched with rain. With only his thin arms holding himself and attempted to keep himself warm and secure, he carries on for what felt like hours and hours of walking with no shelter in sight. Lightning only lit up the sky every once in awhile, but as always. The rain never ceased.Ā
With his blurred vision and only relying on an instinct to guide him, he eyes a dark silhouettes before him and he stops in his tracks. Was he seeing things or was there really someone before him?Ā
Terrified of what kind of person... or monster was approaching him, he turns around and attempts to run away from them, but his feet slip from the wet mud and he falls into the muddy ground. Weakly, he tries to get up from the floor but when he manages to push himself off the ground and on his knees. He looks behind him to see that the shadow was approaching him. It frightened him enough that his mind and vision blurred as his form goes weak and falls back into the mud. His eyes roll back as he slips into unconsciousness, with only the sound of rain now replacing the ringing in his ears.Ā

Konan had awakened in a damp and dark cave off the boarder of iron. She knew that she shouldnāt be here, she shouldnāt be alive, yet here she was, not edo tensei, but fully back. Her first question was, why? Then,Ā who? Who had done this? She had walked out of the cave, she found she was in her usual get up, sans the akatski robe, there had been a piece of paper with the words: You are Welcome, From a friend~ She had folded it up and stored it in her pocket.
A friend? Why would she thank them? She was alive again, but at what cost? All her friends were dead. She was alone. She looked back into the cave and she was relieved and happy that she had. She saw something she had missed. She turned and nearly ran back in. She saw him. Nagato. He was lying on a pile of furs like she had been. She walks over to him and kneeled beside him.Ā āMy God..ā She whispers. She saw he was breathing. Alive, like her. Maybe she would thank them, whoever had brought them back. It was like they knew her. She had always favored Nagato. She was still weary about it all, surely they would ask for something in return, no one did something like this for no reason.
She layed her hand on his, with her other she gently brushes his long bangs aside, smiling slightly. She wanted to wake him so bad, yet he looked so peaceful. She sat beside him, her hand resting on his, she would just wait.

It had been right after the war was won that Deidara had sent out one of his clay birds to come back and it had come back with the news he had long awaited. He was glad he had hoarded so much water and food. He had been in hiding for so long. It was in the stone country, the one in which he had been born that he had sought out his old stalking grounds. It was a cave not many knew about if any, it was well below sea level, a cave hidden way deep in the fartherest reaches of the mountains, it was hell getting there, if you werenāt Deidara. He knew of the secret entry way. Now he comes out of the cave, wearing only his black fishnet top and black pants and shinobi footwear. He had shed his akatski cloak long before he had hidden. He had also stayed in shape, the cave, once deep inside was huge and was by a lagoon, he never wanted for water.
His hair reaches his waist, his usual length, still half tied up upon his head. He kept his hair the same length never letting it shorter or longer. He had run out of his eyeliner, however and wasnāt happy about that. He quickly donned a long black cloak, sans red clouds, it had a hood he covered his head with as he started out. It took him awhile on foot, but he finally made it to the boarder of the rain. He was hesitant to enter. He didnāt know what all had become of his old group.
He stuck to the tree tops,, he needed some more rations, among other things, he wasnāt above staling them. He created a hinge, his hair turns black and short, his eyes turn green and he jumps from the limb and enters the village.

It was one of the few good bars in this small town. Jiraiya had been here before and knew there was good sake and delicious food. He finished his business with the publishing house and learned some information about Akatsuki, so he could rest a little and go to Konoha tomorrow. Jiraiya glanced around the bar with a lazy glance and froze in disbelief. This red hair and this face with unique eyes, he could not help but recognize. That was incredible. Nagato! Long ago, he received a message that all three of the orphans had died. Did any of them survive?
Jiraiya ordered a bottle of sake and some food and walked over to Nagato.
"Hi there, Nagato... I never thought I'd see you again. Look at you! You've grown so much!"
Jiraiya smiled at the old student. He was happy.

āAlrighā, weāre here. Surprised the gates are still open, too...ā
The flight from Amegakure had been long and arduous, but after everything theyād gone through, gods, Fuso felt like she could practically swoon from knobby-kneed relief at finally finding her son--with others sheād taken under her wing, too. Three years had passed since then, and the Uzumaki had been surprised at how much her son had grown. As squalls of rain buffeted the four of them, she couldnāt help but think that years of waiting and dread had finally been answered, and once sheād found them, sheād run on adrenaline for days; barely eating or sleeping until the gates of Konoha loomed over them in a smoky silhouettes through the rainfall. As if Amegakure clung to them, still.
They were able to cross the threshold without issue, assuring the border guards that had confronted her about the children that had accompanied her until she told them and assured sheād meet with some official or other in the morning. With her arms protectively draped over the trio, she spoke until they were allowed passage, trembling from the adrenaline just beginning to wane. But, her work wasnāt done yet.
āCome on, letās get the three of ya back tāthe temple. Reckon yer hungry, and itās late enough as it is.ā
//I really love your Kabuto portrayal, whenever I do see it on my dash there is just such a life to it that makes him feel alive! It's a joy to see you on my dash because then I get to see more of your fun, very interesting Kabuto! And I love RPing with you and getting to see even your little tiny Kabuto, which is just so fun to see! Keep up the great work! <3
@godofame
// Even if I rarely rp as the child version of Kabuto with other people since around the time when Kabuto was young it was literally in the middle or near the end of the 3rd ninja war. You don't have any idea how super happy I am to rp him with you. I do plan on more serious rp threads since I have done so in the past and especially around the Fall seasons when I want to start going on the more darker route due to Halloween being my favorite holiday. XD
And yes, as I mentioned. I really love your Nagato and I love the dynamic that our muses have and the plotting! I love just going to your IMs and just asking you questions and wondering what are Nagato's thoughts on stuff. I'm happy that you like my portrayal and I am looking forward to rping more with you!
@godofame Cont'd from here.
āWeāre not even at all. I wouldnt have come into contact with this small fortune if it werenāt for you.ā
Unfortunate as the situation was, but if there was someone to thank here, perhaps more than her, Kiomi was pretty much convinced that it was the blind man who deserved it instead. Which was why, this money will be shared with him at some point, because venturing out into different villages without so much as a single Ryo was ill advised. Sure enough, the war had ended quite some time ago, but that didnāt make people any less of brutes. Money was still a necessity, and getting around anywhere without it was virtually impossible. Life in a time of peace wasnāt charity work, sadly.
āAmegakureās a ways off from here. But if youāre sure that you want assistance just up until the next village, I can take you up on that.ā He seemed like a strong willed man. Most who had been struck with misfortune would have accepted her help, but he had been quite adamant in supporting himself. Kiomi saw that it was no easy fit for him, but he was none the less persevering through it all. Admirable in its own way, surely. Itās been a while since she witnessed this kind of determination from someone, let alone a person who was indisposed of their sight.
With a small nod, she folded her arms taking a few more seconds to sense around the area. Apart from them the only chakra signature that she could feel were from the wildlife that surrounded them, none that were too threatening to say the least, but more importantly, nothing remotely human. āIf you need some more time to rest, then do so right now. When youāre ready to go, Iāll escort you over to the next village.ā The shinobi watched the man intently, wondering about the motives that propelled him towards his goal of reaching Ame. Was it his home? Why was he so far away? Or was he simply someone who had some business with someone there? Either way, unless he himself divulged these information, it was none of her business. At most, she was nothing but a self imposed bodyguard, selfishly doing what she wants.
āOn that note, when we get to the next village. Weāll have to put you up for some lodging. When we do that, Iāll split this thing here with you 50/50.ā
