I ask myself, why do I keep coming back to the old me, Keep sinning the same? I’m not saying I should sin a new one, but it is really difficult to break the chains I use to made.  Because I really believe,that if anyone is in Christ, He/She is a new Creation (2 Cor. 5:17). But then I come up in a realization that my repentance is not a total repentance. I just put all my dark secrets into a drawer, keeping it there, and sometimes I use to open it. The problem is, I am able to access it anytime. Because only me knows about it. Same as you do weeping the dust on the floor, not throwing the dirt, instead you hide it in the carpet. Cool! clean outside , trash inside. From this I learned the importance of honestly sharing and revealing thoughts, feelings, and tightly held secrets, so they can be brought into the light, wrestled over, and finally resolved. Secrets have power, Secrets are, emotional and spiritual waste. Gratefully I have my family, church leaders, and trusted friends where I can be accountable with. So Open up, be free, God put people around you for a reason.

Never too late to Start Again

“This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of YOUR YEAR." Exodus 12:2 NIV Then Moses said to the people, “Commemorate this day, the day you came out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery, because the Lord brought you out of it with a mighty hand. ..." Exodus 13:3 NIV It's never too late to start afresh, especially when it comes to the Lord. I normally have this first day of the year habit of setting goals. But things got a little rough for me, in my spiritual life to be particular. Yet, God is telling me right now that I can still start today and He just got me out of everything that enslaved me for these past months -- disappointments, stress, sins, anger and fear. And I thank God for today for reminding me that He is the God of unlimited second chances. Faithfully and patiently waiting for my comeback. So dropping off everything, I am embracing my freedom with God today, the first day of my year! 😍😍😍
