✦ As much as Heimdall swears he’s always on guard and “doesn’t need” as much sleep as mortals, he lets his guard down with you. That morning he simply doesn’t get up, because feeling your calm breath against his neck is something he’s not willing to give up so soon.

✦ You’re the one who wakes up later, and when you do, you find him already awake… but unmoving, eyes closed, pretending he’s still asleep just to keep feeling you clinging to him.

✦ Heimdall isn’t one to show affection in public, but in the intimacy of your shared bed, he turns soft—sometimes even a little possessive.

✦ He keeps one strong arm wrapped around your waist, his legs tangled with yours, as if making sure you won’t escape his embrace that morning.

✦ Every time you try to move, he gently pulls you back to his chest and murmurs a dry but affectionate—. Not yet.

I adore Heimdall’s braids — the mere fact that he has braids of different sizes makes me think he has a lot of hair and that he’d have a beautiful wavy mane if he let it down. God, I love seeing a drawing of him with his hair loose and that damn earring he has on his ear — I adore him. 😭😭😭💖
