Beauty is not found in opinions. It isn’t found in the way people think of you. It’s not determined by any guy’s opinion of you, so don’t put any importance on how you look in their opinion, do not even think twice about whether or not you look good to them, just be comfortable in yourself. Beauty is about how God, it’s all about him, He is beautiful in every way, and you, as a child of God, are made in His perfect image. You are beautiful, because you are His, because He made you and He knows every hair on your head, every cell in your body, He knows you fully and loves you fully. It is not opinion that you are beautiful, it’s fact. If we say we are not beautiful, not only does it diminish God’s glory in the creation He has made, we are technically saying that God has made a mistake in us, that we are less than best, that we are not a true image of His power and glory. But it also in turn, says that God in His glory is not beautiful, as a child of God, we are made in His image, and his image is beautiful, so we must also be beautiful.

So even though we may not feel beautiful in the world’s eyes, or to the guy that we think is kind of cute, why does it matter? Why do we even out any importance on something those things, when the king of kings, the ruler of galaxies, loves us to no end and think we are beautiful inside and out? so this big, all powerful God thinks we’re beautiful? Yes, but that’s not all of it. It is far more than that, because our God is a personal god. He doesn’t just rule from far away, He is with us in the daily, everyday things. Our God knows everything about us, every single thing, everything we have done, every thought we have had, all the good things and all the bad, this makes anyone feel uncomfortable, as even our closest friends and family don’t know every terrible thing we’ve done or thought, and their love still fails us. On the otherhand, God knows everything, we are fully known by Him, yet we are also still fully loved by Him. That’s pretty special, and if that doesn’t make you feel beautiful and loved and accepted, then you need to take a step back and see how amazing that really is.

God loves you and never forget that.
