How Stop Anxiety Attacks Quick
Do you ever feel like your anxiety is working overtime, while you are at work? Here are 3 tips you can use at work to help control your anxiety quickly.
1. Stand up straight “ Wonder Woman Stand”.
This posture, combined with deep breathing, helps your body remember that it's not in danger right now and that it is in control (not helpless). If you can't stand up (i.e. you're in your car), just Sit up straight.
2. Play the 5-5-5 game
When you're anxious, you're often caught in a (negative) thought loop.
Just like when your computer gets caught in a loop and can not reboot it just keeps getting to that spot and going off and coming back on over and over again. The same can happen in the brain.
Play this to get back into your body and stop anxiety fast.
3. Lemons
During a panic attack (anxiety attack) can help with getting your mind off the anxiety & focus on the bitter taste of the lemon.
These are just a few ways you can go from anxious to relaxed and in control fast.
