Form rising back up to collect one of the former paint buckets to fill with water as the other suggested. “You’re right.” It was kind of Hammond to help him. He really had arrived just in time too though whether or not they could get the place cleaned up enough before nightfall was yet to be determined. Even so, the food was ruined and he would need to find something to feed his pets with eventually. While he knew he could go several days hungry he really rather not let his hens go anywhere near as long. As he thought of this, Doc had filled the bucket with water and enter back into the mess that was his home only to glimpse around hoping to find something not paint covered to use as a facial covering to help fend off the fumes. “I- oh that’s strong,” Doc complained but was a little less numb to it all as he was at least trying his damnedest to focus on the task at hand. “Actually-” he sat the bucket onto the ground with a wet squish only to retreat outside and return shortly after with two towels. “Need something to fight the fumes until I can get a fan running. After that we can use em to help clean I guess.”

“I believe you have the wrong estate seeing as I have a boyfriend and thus am loved. Your advice, while appreciated, is better suited towards the Queen.” Doc looks around only to pick up a pail and hold it downward and out towards the hamster. “Here. Give her this seeing as she is lonesome and could never keep someone’s interest for more than five seconds. Perhaps having a bucket might help her with that as well assist in carrying any conversation.”

Bottle it up. Everything negative needed to be bottled up and stored away deep down so no one else could see. But he had been building up quite the collection of negative thoughts that the bottles he was using were getting heavy and clanking together in the recess of his heart. Eventually the shelf would cave and he would have a terrible break down that would surely be self destructive. “…Huh?” The radio was silent and on the ground in front of him. Paint had oozed from it but he had sworn he heard it talk. Another moment to realize it was not the radio but Hammond who he had no idea how long he had been there for. “…How-?” Had he seen it already? If he had dropped by for a visit it was convenient timing but also having ties with the Queen maybe she boasted to him and he came to aid him after? Maybe. It was possible. “Yes please. Though I won’t be able to repay you until… I don’t know when actually.”
Ah, so it was the rude boy! My, my, my... Hammond certainly has been mean lately but perhaps he just needs a Snickers. The commercial playing though his head earning, well, a fit of snickers. “You were not specific so I went vague. If you want advice on building something, lead with that. If you offer me nothing to go on I will just say what first springs to mind. So... Try again?”

The only strange thing Hammond had to say was that Grace did not seem to like him much any more which was only odd because he had only ever heard her speak positively about the hamster. Her little champion if you would. “Well, I would be willing to try being neutral again should she admit she was out of line or,” he added quickly though had a strong suspicion neither conditions would soon be met. “She confesses that I am not stupid as she always tries to claim.” Surely these were both reasonable options! It was just a matter of the Queen swallowing her own pride. “However...”
