Ken just stayed still as Daisuke drew him into the hold with raised eyebrows. ... I never said I was going to? Just because he said he’d rather kiss Takeru than RedVegiemon... It didn’t mean he was about to go up and kiss him. A part of him was convinced the boy didn’t really like him still, anyway.

{🌹💕};— When the pink hedgehog had finally noticed that she was being chased after someone, she immediately stopped in her tracks. She turns around and seen a boy with really spiky hair and a pair of goggle wrapped around his head come towards her.

Amy had let the strange boy explain why he ran after her but it ... actually made no since to her but she did feel guilty for making him run all that way.

“My goodness, I’m so sorry for worrying you!” Amy exclaimed before walking closer towards him and expected the boy more closely. “Are you okay, though? I mean, your face looks all red from that running ... “

The dim light of night shaded the both of them, with the sole exception of one solitary artificial one on within the household -- and Ken had gotten caught up thinking about things he shouldn’t, things he should be past, and at the moment, he really, really didn’t think he should talk about it. He saw Daisuke when the two of them went to sleep together; the boy had been bedraggled as if he’d been dragged through the mud by his soccer team. Ken wanted to give him a chance to relax when he clearly deserved it more than anything.

So instead of bringing it up, despite it racing through his head, Ken murmured to him from his place on the floor, Turn off the lights. He didn’t mean to sound like he was ordering him, but...he was in a bit of a haste.

Luigi started a bit within his seat when he heard the boy next to him speak to him, mentioning that he had a nightmare about socks... He blinked as the boy paused, glancing at him expectantly, before the mustachioed man fidgeted in his confusion. “... Ah... Y-you’re talking to me?” Luigi really wasn’t used to strangers approaching him, especially on the bus. That was more of a thing they did with his brother.

Perhaps it was silly for Ken to still be upset about this. After all, it’d been years since it happened -- he should be over it by now, surely. And yet... Ken wasn’t. Not even in the slightest, and although he certainly had a better way of coping with it nowadays, he was still hurting.

Ken let out a soft breath. ... Today is...well, it would have been a certain someone’s birthday... He probably didn’t have to elaborate. Given how much Daisuke understood him, he’d pick up on who Ken was talking about.
