I listen to We Are Mashines and I genuinely cannot put any of their songs on full volume because I will seriously damage my hearing

FYI the main singer screams like rlly loud and I don't mind screaming cause it's wtv but GOD DAMN I got jumpscared while on full blast

Being deaf can make me a little non-sequitor sometimes. If my ADHD is acting up & it's loud, my lip reading skills aren't enough to clarify things. I end up relying heavily on context clues, so I make a statement. I don't say "yes, they are in basketball practice," or "no they're at basketball practice," because I don't know what the actual question was, I just know the answer they need so I simply say, "they are in basketball practice."

Sometimes I assume the wrong question so I end up making a statement that is completely unrelated to what they were asking.

i just watched Oppenheimer and the explosion when they were testing the bombs out SCARED the fuck out of me to the point I sunk in my seat, mind you me and my friend were in imax so we went deaf.

Everyone says the best way to learn sign language is "full immersion" but for literally three years that has not worked for me no matter how hard I try, and I never could figure out, but I think I've put it together.....

I think Dyslexia doesn't know the difference between a letter on a page and a hand sign.

I'm fucking dyslexic in sign language.

NO WONDER I CANT LEARN FOR SHIT
