im so. tired. of modern human life.

the grass is always greener but I just cannot stop thinking about how life as a wild animal must be so. simple.

all you have is the day ahead of you, the next hunt, the next meal. there is no planning for next months rent. there is no chequings and savings. there is no car appointment.

there's just. you. and your pack. and the forest. and the will to survive.

simple does NOT equal easy. but god it has to be better than this.

this would fix me I think -

all I want is a pack to hunt, live, and love with. that unbreakable bond through survival and strength. the familial community within the isolation of the deep forest.

i don't even know what else to write, there's more feelings there that I just can't articulate. sighhhhhh

feeling grateful that I got to spend lots of time in the woods this winter!! i had lots of shorter walks, a couple of longer hikes and an awesome camping trip last week :D being in the forest always feels so right

I have been so nervous to wear any of my gear outside my home, but I get so so sad when I have to take my collar off. yesterday, I decided to go run all my errands with my collar and guess what?? literally no one said anything about it. no one cares!!! despite what you think, no one really cares what you wear!!!

so here is your friendly reminder that

a) no one in public is paying attention to you as much as you think they are

and

b) you can do whatever you want, forever!!
