K's sister and mom have both had various Panasonic Lumix cameras, and they take incredible pictures. Even the super basic ~$150 models are fantastic, and that's before adjusting the grading scale because they're so cheap. If I ever decide to get a new non-phone camera that's definitely where I'm going to look.

I owned one of the cheap Lumix point-and-shoots and loved it, I bought a slightly nicer one for my girlfriend and it was awesome (unfortunately the back screen cracked) and I’ve owned a GH1 for a couple years and shot some pretty decent video on it. Definitely a worthy brand, and cheaper than Canon or Nikon. Ken shoots on a GF1 sometimes I think? Ken?
