Honest thoughts about Krillku? (Krillin x Goku)
This is kinda gonna be long, but even though I am not an avid shipper of it, to me It’s 3rd most. Well I don’t wanna say valid because that implies other ships ARENT. but it’s like top 3 goku ships period to me. Makes complete sense, has a foundation that beats most other ships, etc.
Like just think about it THIS way: goku in the original series freaks the fuck out two times over tragedies that happens to his friends, right? But like. Both of those times were actually because Krillin died. So like that’s more foundation for a ship than like... Many of the other characters he interacts with just in general.
Goku's love for krillin (canonically platonic, but no less important and definitely good grounds for shipping) literally makes him transcend. like he literally goes super saiyan for krillin, in anger and grief for krillin. his first time ever experiencing such strong negative emotions were arguably when krillin died the first time (though we don't know his actual reactions to grandpa gohan's death, so there's a lot of room to speculate).
goku and krillin have the kind of friendship in the series that if it were literally ANY other series, all the girlies would be shipping them, and anyone outside of that would be going "why cant they just be friends" LMAOOOOOO , ageless debate that somehow krillku/gokrill got around. that's the kinda debate I just find funny in general so its almost disappointing we don't have it here. almost.
anyways, my biggest thoughts are that the ship is slept on and is super compelling and not enough people agree with this, wheres the krillku ship art ? wheres the fics? cmon people !!!!!!!
