It's been a while since I've done something like this and I'm feeling chaotic so let's talk about @ (Aka Golbaengi)!
Golbaengi debuted in 2000 as a joint project between Cia Entertainment and SM Entertainment with "Queen of the Night", a typical early 90s hip hop inspired release with verses in English and Korean.
They weren't popular and disappeared after their first album like a lot of first generation idols but what really makes this duo interesting in particular is that neither of the members were born in Korea: One member, Tony being half Korean, half Italian-America and the other, Eddie being an American of European descent.

Extra fun fact: The translation for 골뱅이 is "Sea Snail" BUT their name is taken from the @ symbol which is also known as 골뱅이. The symbol was used in a lot of the group's marketing and on their outfits as a nod to the coming technological era.
