Nora + AJ | Color Burst and White Ranch Open Space Engagement Photos

I am SO excited to share Nora and AJ’s engagement photos. Not only did we get to do the most fun things, but these two are mega awesome! We started out in Wash Park to take a stroll amongst the beautiful trees and.. THROW COLOR AT EACH OTHER! Yep, they had a full on color fight inspired by the color runs they have done together. I loved the idea immediately when AJ said he wanted to do it for their wedding, but agreed wholeheartedly with Nora when she said no. So we compromised and duked it out in the park. If you ask me, Nora won as in first coverage AJ was hit. Sorry AJ. It was such a fun time.

After that adventure we decided to spend the rest of the shoot in the mountains up at White Ranch Open Space. We were hoping for beautiful golden light and although it didn’t last too long, the sky we got from the clouds was incredible. To make it more special, Nora and AJ brought their favorite things, as Nora serenaded AJ with her Ukulele and they colored in their favorite coloring book. It was so apparent to see AJ’s love of photography as he marveled at the sky. So to finish out the night, we ran around trying to capture it’s beauty. And, honestly, it was easy. They are so comfortable and playful together. I just enjoy being around them. They have the kind of love that spreads to others, and that I really like.

I had so much fun with these two. I can’t wait for their wedding. It is sure to be incredible!
