Thankful for a lot of things on this beautiful Thanksgiving Day. Thankful my folks are still around and that Dad is able to go to the turkey shoot and take everybody’s money. He was on fire last night! Thankful for all the kind hearted folks I’ve met in the last 12 weeks since Dorian and thankful that there are people out there ready and willing to help our fellow man. Thankful for our health and our house. Seeing devastation like I’ve seen working these storms really puts things in perspective. Thankful for toilets, hot running water, washing machines. Thankful the hundreds of pounds of food we sent to Hope Town made it in time for them to have Thanksgiving Dinner today! The simple things. The little things.
