Adding height to the back of this cottage garden border was Laburnum anagyroides (common laburnum, golden rain). This small tree was introduced into the UK in 1560 and is often planted in parks and gardens. It should be used with care as the plant is poisonous including the seeds.

I've been exploring what Goldenrain's armor might look like if it was more "Heavy Armor" instead of "Light Armor". He's so CHOMKY..... But don't worry, under all that plating he's still the same beanpole xD

The first project of 2023 is a reality. A parting gift, in the form of a meditation stool. Made out of maple and with details in golden rain. To accentuate the caring that the person in question felt very strongly about. But also the unique opportunity connecting. The observant viewer will see similarities with the stool Thomas Tielt Groenestege once made for ‘de tafel van zeven' project.
