These days I'm thinking that maybe it was a mistake to stop posting here. I was always concerned that even though I love Tumblr, I'd never build a following here, but honestly, Twitter and Co. didn't really turn out much more effective in that regard either. Now I've posted to Twitter for many years while only being a spectator on Tumblr and I feel like it didn't really achieve anything. After Twitter had it's policy changes at the start of the year, I cancelled my account there, so in the end I had to break down all my built-up popularity there anyway (it wasn't much, but it still feels bad). And I'm not sure Bsky is going to he any better in the long run. Why did Tumblr have to ban nsfw, man? It ruined so much!
