He averted his gaze onto her. "You said you wanted to speak to me of some matter ago like a few weeks ago. Something unfinished? Whatever it is it doesn't matter. I got time right now so go ahead and tell me what's on your mind."

W E MEET [ AGAIN ] - conclusion ~
Swaiize lay there, in a small pool of his own blood. Coughing, spluttering around the edges of his cracked hollow mask. Bare faced, he looked at the Arrancar before him. His mentor, his savior in more ways than one. He balled his fist, struggling to his knees.
What... are you trying to say Reem..?
Mweupe looked at him with solemn eyes, periwinkle orbs trying to help convey the message his words had been trying to carry. He strode forward suddenly, and Swaiize flinched. Ears laid back, he attempted to scoot back from the Buck to no avail. Reem halted just as suddenly as he had started, slowly dropping to one knee. He and the dog were nearly at eye level.
To live in this world selfishly, to believe your actions have no consequences and to care for nothing but yourself, is an atrocity that spawns creatures like Baraggan Louisenbairn.
Swaiize's eyes widened. Reem's eyes narrowed.
If you believe freedom is nothing but the ability to avoid hardship altogether, then I have failed you.
He was confused, so confused and angry. The dog dropped his gaze to the ground.
No, Swaiize. To truly be free in life.. you must first accept that you are alive. And all the responsibilities that come with it.
He stood and turned from him then. Swaiize opened his mouth as if to speak but, could not found the words. The Buck strode away, back to Tia and the others, briefly halting before he were to pass them.
When you understand what that means... come find us.
And with that last word, His feet carried him gradually away from the blood stained sand.
"What do you want?!"
She snarls her demand, brows rigid in anger. He's pinned down to the sandy white ground, with her claws in his fur. They're sharp, and his arms bleed but he doesn't even twitch. Instead, he's looking at her face, her emerald eyes. She's beautiful, not just physically but spiritually. She's defiant, angry but rightfully so. Deep down what he wants and what she wants are exactly the same.
"Freedom."
He trails cloven fingers delicately through her hair. Her eyes soften only slightly, but he has been close enough to her to tell. The anger is still there, but now it's marred with confusion. But even when the revelation passes in her thoughts, she doesn't truly get it and for that he is thankful.
He doesn't search for his own freedom.
Long ago he was wild, young, reckless and arrogant. He let nothing stand in his way, and never stopped for anyone or anything. He didn't know it then, but that was how tyrants like Baraggan were born. He had the fortune, to be guided down the right path. But the fortune was, in itself, a curse.
This world had already broken him. Broken when the only man he respected fell at the hand of a being so evil it defied his understanding. Broken more when made to serve, this vile beast that dared call itself king, let alone man. Broken and paraded around, with shattered spirit and stained pride.
He would never be free like that again. He'd seen too much, and done too little to stop it.
But she... she could be free. This beauty in the sands and those who would follow her, and not him could be free of all of this. This torture, this despair. Even then he knew, sacrifices would need to be made to achieve freedom not for himself, but for them. If he was to die, for that kind of cause...
...then let it be.
Still...
...She forced herself to remain absolutely, completely still. Only the faint rise and fall of her shoulders was allowed with each measured breath. Sleep eluded her that night, and she could find no rest coiled up in her most comfortable position on the sand. Exhaling an indignant huff of air, the serpent mentally focused on relaxing her muscles, attempting to will away the tension from her body. Minutes passed, and the tip of her tail continued to twitch nervously no matter what she thought of. Eventually she gave up, and merely lifted her head to gaze into the horizon.
Following her run in with the panther earlier that day, a vague sense of unease had haunted her. Their temporary home lacked the comfort and security she'd come to associate with it. And Harribel...
Glancing toward the blonde, she noted with a frown how rigid her spine appeared while she sat on watch. No one had followed them, at least as far as she could tell. It felt as empty as it usually was when she scanned for any signs of other spiritual pressures. They seemed safe, yet it was apparent the shark considered this 'Baragagn' that had been mentioned a troubling threat.
Sung-Sun felt the same curiosity thinking back on it that she did then. Throughout her century alone in the desert, she'd managed to keep a very low profile. Information and news might as well have been foreign concepts. Judging from the way the other adjucha had spoken about him, though, and Harribel's reaction, she could only assume that he was some sort of infamous figure. Perhaps Harribel would elaborate if, she asked. She decided she might as well, considering she would likely be awake for some time anyway.
Slowly, she began to slither forward. The quiet shifting of sand and clack of her beads would no doubt alert the other woman to her presence, but even so, she stopped a few yards away, hesitating a moment before she spoke.
"Harribel-sama...?" she began, waiting for some sort of acknowledgement. "May I speak with you?"
