Okay so as of Monday morning, GARY PUCKETT is over here in the UK for 60's Unchained and Live on Sunday 24th November. I am a regular listener to Gold radio (regular meaning every single day) and have been for a while. When I found out that Gary Puckett was going to be on the show and answering calls, I decided that I had to phone. So I did, it took a few (8, is that too many?) tries but it was worth it. I GOT THROUGH! So Gary answered the call and said hello to me, asked me how I was, and then I reciprocated by asking him how he was, he said he was fine. Dean (the presenter) asked me what I'd like to ask Gary, so I asked 'what would he do for a living if he weren't a singer' or something along those lines. He replied with child psychology or criminal psychology. Then Dean praised me and said 'good question'. Then he asked me what my favourite song by Gary Puckett was, and I said 'Lady Willpower' and he played it straight away. Honestly though, Gary is a really nice bloke, easygoing, laid back, really friendly. It was just an experience having him ask how I was. My heart was literally in my throat the entire time, I must've screwed up a little through nerves but he didn't seem to mind. Lovely bloke, and so I want to just wish him luck for Saturday.
