How positively OUTSTANDING is this Waziri antique Temporal Ornament Set in Silver with Gold Wash being modeled by Ashley?! Coming to us from the early to mid 20th century, these beauties were made with fine tribal silver 80% or higher with a quality gold wash in Waziristan, Pakistan. They would add such an amazing element to any outfit you pair them with! #temporalornament #hairornament #waziristan #pakistan #pakistani #pakistanijewellery #tribalsilver #80percentsilver #goldwash #vintage #vintagejewelry #vintagehairaccessories #hairaccesories #headpiece #vintageheadpiece #gorgeous #culture #fashion #style #styleinspiration #fashionphotography #editorial #styleinspo #love #handmade #shop #nyc #unionsquare (at Beads of Paradise NYC) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7ZMHZ_h7wL/?igshid=9c6mof37kdwp
The person Goldwash is singing to on his new single might not want to “feed the fire anymore”, but he sure has a lot of future soul fire to feed our ears on his swooning new track. This should come as no surprise, considering the molten elation this Los Angeles talent has brought us with his luxuriant music in the past. You Don’t Wanna Feed The Fire Anymore fuses smoky psychedelia with dreamy, doo-woppy soul and simmering beats in a way kind of like Yellow Days gone Tom Misch and HONNE. Gabe Acheson, the man behind Goldwash, drew on his background in jazz piano and barbershop singing to set his satiny melting mood.

How Los Angeles based future soul musician came to the decision of naming himself Goldwash is a mystery to me, but now that I think about it, a wash in gold does evoke all that is luxurious and posh, ritzy and opulent. It’s a thought much fitting of the artist’s “existential funk”, which he serves up in abundance on Why Hide It, the first single from his forthcoming EP Why Hide It. Though resplendent, Why Hide It is also raw and lustful. It’s a carnal heated, sexy burning, yet smooth buttery electronica and R&B funk emulsion both floaty and dense. Why Hide It features swooning saxophone harmonies and, as Goldwash himself puts it, Lex Luger-esque strings. If you need a song to go with your seedy late night adventures, this crimson burning, steamy sensual jam is it. Grab Why Hide It from iTunes, here, while we await further news about Goldwash’s next EP.
