“Uh oh” seems to be the right exclamation to make when it comes to our long overdue praise for this Petticoat, especially after the experimental electronic producer impressed us so much previously that we quickly and promptly jumped on the chance to premiere his scintillating track Whip. The musician from Los Angeles is back with his tantalizing, prickling future pop and dance beats on Uh Oh, drenching us with the bubbly sheen of his time defying sound on the exhilarating track. 90s retro R&B meets the club scene of the future on the slickly swelling, dreamy shimmering, and peppy jabbing tune. If Blood Orange went PC Music and hit up the clubs, it might sound something like Uh Oh. The budding, up-and-coming producer to watch has been very busy this summer. Aside from Uh Oh, he’s just released a new track named Fantasy, which you can stream below. It’s another spiky thrilling, effulgent tingling slice of his retro R&B infused future pop and ravey electronica. Petticoat has also given underground pop sensation Slayyyter an injection of his spry aesthetic on his remix of Mine. Listen to Petticoat on Spotify, here.
