Swampshipping, Lucina/Severa
- i can never remember whether i say felix or piers for this one. piers pretends he's neat, but actually he just crams everything into drawers so that the illusion of neatness completely falls apart the second you open one, felix apparently has never heard of drawers b/c he just leaves shit on the floor.
who feels the most uncomfortable abt pda:
- felix lmao tho he's much more comfortable being physically intimate with anyone one-on-one, be it romantically or with jenna, who's obvs the expressive one.
who's the funniest drunk:
- it's been my personal stupid headcanon for 57358 years that mercury adepts actually have a v difficult time getting drunk, so felix would be if he weren't so acutely aware of how much of a lightweight he is. idk i can't really see felix caring for alcohol, piers probably likes fancy lemurian wine that tastes like horse piss to everyone else.
- piers texts like he's sending formal business emails and felix always has his phone on silent so he only sees texts like a week after he gets them and then spends a good five minutes wondering if he can get away with not replying ever.
who has the most embarrassing taste in music:
- felix still listens to all those Emo Bands you worshiped during yr 2007 hot topic phase, pretends he's self-aware abt it but he really isn't. piers is always at least two decades behind in terms of popular music, so they balance each other out. he tries to listen to felix's music and is Very Alarmed by all the screaming.
- i'd say they both read a lot when they have the time? maybe piers wins out on this one b/c he's had 53756868 years to read the same old classical lemurian texts over and over and over again b/c nothing new has been published since the lost age.
- since lemurians really like children, and have a sort of different approach to aging/the passage of time in general, i think piers would be really good with kids just b/c he treats them like little adults and fully considers their opinions and feelings. i think a small part of him sees everyone, even kraden, as something of a child, but he's very conscious after a certain point about not channeling that mindset in a condescending fashion. felix doesn't like kids but kids fuckin love him if the entire populace of yallam under the age of ten is anything to go by. it damages his Brooding Antihero ethos so much.

who's got the weirdest hobby:
- piers is probably into a bunch of weird things that aren't usually done outside retirement homes, felix had fun once and it was awful.
who cooks and who cleans up:
- it's probs on rotation for the whole party to share the work?
- neither of them are wildly messy--it drives severa up the wall when thinks look sloppy, and lucina is just attentive enough that she doesn't even consider leaving things a mess in the first place.
who feels the most uncomfortable abt pda:
- severa, by a longshot. lucina is a little sheepish abt it b/c it's such new territory for her--a lot of her approach to relationship stuff is looking at her parents and using that as a sort of gauge as to what's Appropriate. severa gripes and yelps abt pda a lot, esp since i can see her being tetchy abt her Liking Girls being common knowledge (i see her as like 98% gay with 2% left for me being sereazu trash), and lucina respects that. in private, severa secretly wants to cuddle a lot and then acts snippety even as she's obviously enjoying it.
who's the funniest drunk:
- lucina just sits there with this pleasantly oblivious little smile on her face and takes 5ever to react to any external stimuli, severa somehow drinks like a fish despite being 5' and only gets flushed in the face, so lucina wins this one.
- severa blowing up everyone's phones 25/7
who has the most embarrassing taste in music:
- severa listens almost exclusively to top 40 hits and gets really defensive if anyone brings it up, oh, is she just vapid and shallow and stupid?? excuuuuuuse her for existing g a w d lucina will listen to literally anything you give her, so her taste in music is only embarrassing b/c owain and cynthia's taste in music is embarrassing. they give her a bunch of fandom music, as in music written abt fandoms, and she doesn't understand any of the references but thinks it's good enough listening.
- lucina, when she has the time. severa gets bored really fast unless the pacing meets her exacting standards, so she doesn't read too much.
- definitely lucina lmao severa never knows how to act around them and her persecution complex goes into full gear whenever kids are involved b/c they're definitely making fun of her, the ungrateful little snots. lucina is another sort who takes kids in dead earnest, and they really warm up fast to that kind of respect.
who's the one that fixes things around the house:
- severa tries, usually ragequits halfway through, and then feels disproportionately guilty when lucina finishes the job.

- does lucina's legendary fashion sense count as a hobby b/c
who cooks and who cleans up:
- during the game, it's a rotation thing throughout the shepherds, i guess. i like to picture lucisere being a thing that happens two or three years down the road from the end of the game, and so with just the two of them, lucina likes to do everything together as a way to spend time with severa. __(:3_/
