This isn’t Real Certified Info but I think it’s because cats both groom themselves and shed quite a lot so they end up swallowing a lot of their own hair? But then again I have never seen my short-haired cat throw up hairballs, but my friends have told me their long-haired cats have done so.

Ah I see :o, yeah it does seem to be mostly an issue of fluffier cats but shedding in general may contribute. Wikipedia says licking themselves as grooming is a big reason but I think that may be like half the answer because again this hairball thing isn’t really a big problem for most fuzzy critters despite grooming in a similar way to cats.

I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be okay soon since I was able to walk it off. Which doesn’t say that much now that I think about it... I’m stupidly stubborn about just walking it off. :’D But for once I’m gonna be smart and get it checked out tomorrow if it still hurts.

Gomis! Don’t you know? That’s how he GETS YA!!!

Joking aside, Mont Blanc does prefer his human form because in his true form, he is really a mountain, and mountains are immobile. So while he might reveal his true form to stun and frighten others, as soon as they’re dealt with he’ll switch back to make a quick getaway.

Ultimately, art should be something that feels FUN for you. If it doesn’t right now, you should try to make it fun! It absolutely is something you do for yourself first and foremost, so you shouldn’t fee pressured to make it meet certain standards, unless they are standards you have set. This is a long-winded way to say - do what feels right and fun, I hope your frustrations will fade soon and you’ll feel fun with drawing again! 8<

It's so hard when you know you're not happy with your art, but you don't know how you want to change it. I'm sorry to hear you are struggling with this so much, G. Have you tried working on just loose sketches and stuff and carefree arting? (Also sorry if advice wasn't what you wanted.)

Apologies for taking a little while to reply to this I actually... forgot to do that ._.;

Anyway advice is cool I’ve actually thought of doing more loose sketch type work for like trying to finalize my designs for Entirety in particular. I really want to get some characters to be as fluid of design as possible while still looking nice so maybe what can make that happen is drawing them sloppily over and over and seeing what features stick.
