So excited to share my latest with you guys! This story started with an outfit I spotted in a mall window, and spiraled into so much more. Plans are to release chapters on Mondays and Thursdays!

Special thanks to @lutraslutra for the incredible cover art! They shared a different version of the Aziraphale art a few weeks back, and when I told them how much it reminded me of my Aziraphale character from this AU, they generously offered to make me a cover, and add Crowley too! I had an amazing time working with them.

Summary:

Anthony Crowley is a young jewel thief and sex worker, caught in the deadly spiderweb of ruthless crime boss Luke Morningstar. Omegas are toys to be traded, and friend and foe are two sides of the same coin. But he thinks his life is going okay — until a sad-eyed alpha with a dark past walks into his life and teaches him what it really means to be loved.

Aziraphale Fell thought he’d escaped his old life, that he was on the path to redemption. But now he’s lost everything, and he’s back in the city where it all started, searching for answers. When a leggy redhead catches his eye, his first instinct is to push him away. But maybe, just maybe, he’s found the one thing he really needs.

Will they make it out of hell together? Or will it all end in blood?

Aziraphale’s switchblade glinted in the bluish glow of the fluorescent light over his head. The man blinked, scratching his iron-gray hair, the hint of motor oil in his scent suddenly flooding the small space. Then, as if the two of them were simply enjoying afternoon tea, he reached out, pushing back the sleeve of Aziraphale’s trench coat to reveal the spread wings tattooed on his forearm.

“You’re in the wrong neighborhood to be flashing that around, my friend,” he said drily. He was wearing a forest-green button-down shirt that brought out odd highlights in his sallow complexion.

“Yes, well —” Aziraphale hastily pulled his sleeve back down. “If you know what it means, you know I know how to use this. And you know I won’t hesitate to do so, if you refuse to tell me the truth.”

When they’re still children, Aziraphale and Crowley are separated after they do something neither of them fully understand. They’re left feeling the absence of one another for years and struggle to connect with others. Each of them move on, but are stuck living unfulfilling solitary lives, always wondering what is missing. In the interim before they reconnect, that mysterious emptiness in their lives causes each of them to question a great deal about themselves, particularly how they navigate their relationships with sex and their own sexuality.

Many years later, once they are rejoined, they make a load of wrong assumptions before they figure things out.
