Australian surfing legend @mfanno has decided that the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach will be his final event. Fanning is an a crowd favourite on tour, and every Australian should be stoked to have him representing the country. Mick Fanning pulled off a miracle buzzer-beater to keep his World Title hopes alive at the Billabong Pipe Masters in 2013. Needing a 8.0, @MFanno tucked in a massive barrel, scoring a 9.5 to advance through Round 5. Mick would amazingly produce more last-minute heroics in his quarterfinal against Yadin Nicol. Fanning dropped into a second reef set, putting himself in a solid position for a deep, near-perfect backhand tube.
