I actually went to sleep "early" Woke up about an hour ago started to make coffee, cuz why not stay up I mean I could always take a nap later, and have a PB&J sandwich when I suddenly became ill. So now I'm awake afraid to drink the coffee, but I probably will drink it anyway, and watching this because there is nothing else on TV. Travolta is a Scientologist and that's all I can think about when I watch him on film. Vince Vaughn should do more roles like this instead of playing himself in comedies. #manic #iwantacheeseburger

Social TV Ratings: January 31st

The traditional ratings system is antiquated. I mean, has anyone actually ever seen let alone used a Nelson box? The system should be on it's deathbed but sadly it's not. However, that doesn't mean we don't need a way to measure a programs popularity -- namely for advertising purposes and bragging rights. Thankfully Trendrr.tv has gathered ratings based on social media activity: Twitter mentions, public Facebook posts, GetGlue check-ins, and Miso check-ins. While I'm sure it doesn't paint a complete picture of what people are watching, it at least gives a better idea of what shows people are TALKING about.
