For the WIP Guessing Game: Tumescent?
That is very definitely not in anything I’ve got going on, dude, considering I have never heard that word before. Good word, though!!!

i loved Red Wall and Mossflower as a kid and think you should go full speed ahead on a pen-and-paper Bird Adventure Game!
I’m sorry for such a delayed reply!
I was also a huge fan of both the Redwall series and Guardians of Ga’Hoole. I still own most of the books from each series. Let’s not forget Fire Bringer and The Sight, by Clement-Davies! Or the Silverwing trilogy, or Watership Down. Fantasy animal adventure stories were incredibly important in shaping my childhood. I can remember tromping through the woods with my sister, with sticks for “swords” on an epic quest… using rocks to pound random leaves we found into smithereens, pretending to be herbalists… (Don’t worry, we knew what poison ivy and oak looked like. No children were harmed in the making of fake poultices.) Even indoors, we’d set up cities, clans, and kingdoms of stuffed animals and routinely sent them on quests, or to war with each other. There was always a spy. There was usually at least one revolution. (Most of them were successful.) (Often there was a counter-revolution too.)
Anyway, all this to say that I’m going full steam ahead with the adventure game. At the moment, I don’t have much time to spare after my school-related tasks, and the game isn’t my only personal project. However, that doesn’t mean I’m not working on it!

I sure as hell wish my mom didn’t let her...
is your mom the going on a walk and talking type?
My mom is disabled and a drunk and rarely leaves her room. When she’s alone and sober, she’s pleasant and I love speaking with her.

I don't think anyone's a good person. Or a bad person. That's a false dichotomy that I think might be good for teaching children how to treat others but at the end of the day people are people who do good and bad things. There's definitely a gradient and some people can do worse than others but that doesn't entirely define them.
Hm. I suppose that makes sense. I guess that it’s just a gray area.
Thank you for replying with your thoughts. It helps me to think through the problem a bit more.
