Gon raised an eyebrow at his father. This was definitely a side of him that he wasn't used to seeing. Was this jealousy that he was sensing? He wasn't quite sure, but he was going to find out. A smirk falls on his features as he was quite pleased to see his dad act like this. Especially when it came to him. But he wasn't going to let his dad hurt Leorio. Even if it was with just words.

"Dad, chill. He's just been looking out for me." Gon could say a few more things about that. But the last thing he wants to do right now is argue with the other. They had already been doing enough of that as it is.

The younger male expected his father to get angry with him. However, it was the complete opposite. He just smiled at him instead? What was with this guy? The one who was supposed to take care of him. He always wondered why his father never wanted him to find him. "I just, I don't get you." Gon states. Like his father was a complete mystery to him and he wanted to know more.

Maybe he was just being a little harsh in the moment, but he was surprised that his dad did have some people to lean on. He raises an eyebrow at the other. "You think I cling to people? I can do do things on my own too." Gon explains. He doesn't always need people, but he doesn't want to be a loner like his father either. Gon liked having people around. He glances at his dad and shakes his head. "I don't demand them of anything." Gon explains. He never asked anyone to follow his lead unless it was something small.

Gon shook his head no giving the other an innocent smile. How he loved that he just might be Killua's weakness. It was fun for him. Plus, he just liked the other in general. So, why wouldn't he want Killua to come with him to meet his dad? They came all this way together. So, why not finish it together too? It only made sense. Even if his father may not be someone who turns out like how he wanted. At least he'd have Killua by his side.

He also used his best puppy dog eyes toward the other. "Pleeeeease?" Gon whines a little. Gon also may have wanted Killua there as a bit of support for himself. This was his first time meeting his father after all.

To be fair, they had just been eating. So, it was likely he might get some type of food on his face. And they had been eating pasta, so even more of a reason for him to get the sauce on his face. Gon looked down at his face as he tried to see where it was. (Not that he'd even be able to no matter how hard he tried.) And he even used a napkin to attempt to get it off. However, what he hadn't expected was for Killua to kiss him.

He blinks a little, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink after it happened. "So, you were just fibbing about the whole thing?" Not that he was complaining. He was here for the kissing. But he wanted to make sure he hadn't just been day dreaming that just now.

One thing that he never really learned was how to tie those ties for a suit. So when they had to wear one for the event they were going too, he had done the best he could at trying to tie it himself. However, it didn't actually work out as well as he'd hoped. In the end it looked worse than when he was trying to learn how to tie his shoelaces for the first time. Boy was he already feeling embarrassed for not knowing how to do this.

He glanced at the other who was now fixing his tie. A slight blush appearing on his cheeks since he wasn't used to do this kind of interaction with Killua. After Killua was able to finish tying the tie for him he smiles at him. "Thanks Kil. When did you learn to get good at tying ties?"

Honestly, did Killua think that he would even listen to him at this point? He was known for making reckless decisions all throughout their friendship together. So, this time would be no different than the rest. He frowns as he crosses his arms over his chest while glancing at Killua. "Do you really expect me to listen?" Gon questions.

A sigh escapes his lips as he averts his gaze from the other. "Plus, it's not like I can do this without you." Gon said. He needed his best friend by his side. It was what kept him going.

Boy was he angry at this moment, everyone always underestimated him because he was a kid. They didn't seem to realize that anyone could do something as simple as this sport. They had there team, so why not let them try it out? He was about to raise his hand up so that he could punch the guy to show just how strong he was, but he felt a familiar hand on his telling him to stop.

He glances over at Killua then. Seeing that it was his hand who had stopped him. Which he had already figured. "Killua?" Gon asked. Wondering why he was stopping him and not letting him just lose his anger on the guy.

Killua definitely had a point. He knows he should have been more careful, but he already had the idea to help anyway. So, that's what he did. Although, it didn't work out in his favor unfortunately. Seeing as he ended up getting scraped a little. At least it was only that and nothing more. It could have been a lot worse from the creatures. He lets out a sigh as he looks over at his best friend.

"Thank you for helping me back there. I know you didn't have too." Gon said. He was always grateful for Killua's help though. He helped out in more ways than Gon could probably count. Especially whenever he was in trouble.
