Nagito Komaeda is so easy to hyper fixate on, he's such a good character and I always want to understand him so I spend time thinking about him and before I know it i've been thinking for hours. I want to understand and have the most accurate characterization for characters I like, and I want to know all I can about media I like, combining that with Nagito is like a recipe for a never ending appreciation and interest to think about.
Sometimes he makes perfect sense, other times he doesn't, even if I understand him fundamentally. He takes over my thoughts and I truly think that may be what I love about him most. He gives me something to think about, to try to understand to the best of my abilities. It's fun and I appreciate it, he's certainly an easy distraction.
