#PackTheCourtRoom they are trying to give me 9months-2 years for a peaceful protest. The officer who allegedly murdered #DonovonLynch is my arresting officer, and is set to testify against me. Hoping to have everyone's support today. 🙏🏾🖤 Back story - Friends & relatives... Supporters and allies... The @cityofvabeach is trying to stick it to me for a peaceful protest. We are talking about significant jail time. It's not often that I come asking for support, but in this case, I need all of the support possible. We've protested all across the country, and never once have seen something like this where they specifically target ONE individual for PEACEFUL protest. We didn't break anything, we didn't harm anyone, we didn't storm a capitol, so why am I facing time away from my family and community for a PEACEFUL protest? We've held dozens of protests in @cityofnorfolkva, #Charlottesville, #Richmond, #Goochland, #NewportNews and no1 is ever arrested, or injured. Why does the 1st amendment not apply in #VirginiaBeach? - Furthermor,e the officer who allegedly MURDERED #DonovonLynch the cousin of @Pharrell was my ARRESTING officer, and will be taking the stand against me. He has yet to be charged, or named, and he isn't on administrative leave. - Are we to believe that protesting against police brutality is more of a crime than MURDERING someone? Please do not let this go on quietly. Please make as much noise as possible contacting the Virginia Beach Commonwealth attorney asking them to drop the charges, contact @markherringva to drop all charges on peaceful protesters from around the state, contact @governorralphnortham & @lgjustinfairfax. Contact the @naacp and inform them.
