She stared at him so sincerely, with eyes that he felt hecould’ve gotten lost in. He never thought he could gaze into a person’s eyes sointensely like this. No, it was only because of Kaede’s encouragement.
It was funny for her to tell him this—no, that should’vebeen his line to her. Did she realize how much good she’d done…for him, forothers? Surely she must’ve. Or perhaps she didn’t need to. The pianist was sopositive, a shining light.
