New Au idea I came up when listening to in a crowd of thousands (reinaeiry cover) also reading your fic Jealousy keep in mind for context(more of a pilot -love that fic btw always go back and reread it)
An eve!alastor au endgame alastor/adam
Anyway sorry if this is bit messy
Eve eats the first apple and slowly gets corrupted until “only” roo remains Adam eats the apple second (is uncorrupted because eve ate it first).then I was think that alastor is a offshoot/piece of roo like in Greater good au (no crew back stabbing tho not that flavour of angst) and basically the final piece left of eve ,and the plot kinda follows your fic (unrequited radioapple) Adam missing/grieving his wife a bit(it has been a long time and he has processed it ) and actually wanting to help Charlie with redemption(people also wanting to find his son. Dad Adam is a under rated concept/and maybe Adam’s devotion would resonate with the mama’s boy) which I think if he still it’s the leader of the exorcists (which has been happening way longer then 7 years)it would be really interesting if he still is/was .
And the fun part the reunion which in my head would go in a similar fashion to ‘in a crowd of thousands’ with alastor slowing remembering things after being around/working with Adam *cough* slow burn “cough * alastor getting to experience loving stable partner despite them not being together at that point * cough * who said that 😲(who is a while adjusted competent adult and NOT manchild) (thinking more Odysseus from epic vibes)
Ooh maybe Adam is the leader of the exorcists the way Abel is in that he's in charge but doesn't want to hurt his descendants - but he's in charge of Heaven's army and he needs to protect his OTHER descendants in heaven, so he'll do it but while trying to find his son.
And also find another way.
He will be SO excited when Charlie talks about redemption because that's perfect! And will move into the hotel to help - and meet Alastor, who is a fragment of Roo and therefore Eve and god he's so much like her.
And Alastor is slowly getting memories...I like this!
