Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every child

i dont know if anyone remembers this cartoon series that was produced by HBO, and still runs on HBO today, but there was this cartoon in the 1990′s called Happily ever after: Fairy tales for every child. And when they said “Every child” they meant it. They took all those old Fairy tales, king midas, cinderella, snow white, etc, and They restructered them to other cultures. Aftrican, Asian, alaskan, polinesian everything. I loved them growing up, and im as north american white as they get.

the entire cast was POC too, SInbad and yes, That there lady in the blue dress is Mother Goose, voiced by Whoopi Goldberg.

They even took classics like 3 little pigs and Alibaba and the 40 theives and gave them a feminist twist

Its on HBO and even on youtube, i recomend watching it, its so good and tastefully done. its so good that HBO still airs reruns!

also, there was greaet music every episode. Sung by the cast!

No, but seriously, what the fuck does Summers think Congress is supposed to do about movies, TV shows, video games? It’s absolute bullshit that any of this stuff is responsible for the rash of mass shootings in this country, but even if (for the sake of shits and giggles) we allow it as a valid argument, what does Summers want?

For violent media to be banned? For there to be waiting periods between downloading a video game and playing it?

Obviously the bitch has never heard of the First Amendment. Why is it that conservatives always think the Constitution is a pick-and-choose buffet, just take what you want and ignore the rest?
