Clementine Kruczynski, I’ve never related to a character more than yours

6. most memorable coming out story
this was in my drafts from the first time i came out to someone who wasn’t my close friends and yh the person’s response was so chill i couldn’t believe it like wow not everyone is going to react badly maybe one day this could be viewed as something normal and i was just completely astonished
Today I got my first consultation with my new therapist and one thing she told me that I’m gonna hang on a wall somewhere is ‘I’m not here to tell you which way you should go, only you know what’s best for you. I’m only here to aid in whatever doubts or questions you have along the way but you’re the one who has to work on your quest and do what you find is best and I want to help you on that. ‘ and by those words alone I knew I was in good hands.
Only you know what’s best for you. If your heart says something and it made you improve significantly so far, then listen to it. Because these mind manipulators will try to make you doubt yourself, they think you cannot think for yourself, they don’t want you to be autonomous. Prove them wrong, prove you can and will succeed without them. That is the best ‘revenge’ or karma that you can give them back.
next weekend - roadtrip to Sedona & grand Canyon with my sisters
weekend after that - kayaking trip!
weekend after that - friends from FL coming to visit
other good things in life right now: my pupparoni. softball team. learning to skateboard. being immersed in psychology at work. chats with my amazing roommate. my daily meditation. continual healing and self love. living next to a lake
I bugged my sister on the phone to stay and talk with me while I tried playing batim (her a horror movie buff w/ me often hiding behind her) got about 50 minutes through, ran into a jump scare and quit for the night because I'd bruised my knee, but this has given me a whole new experience I wouldn't have tried and I thank you for that. I'm gonna try the game again when my sister visits so that she can taunt me in person and keep me going.
:D OMG THAT’S GREAT!
(not the thing with your knee. sorry for that)
but i get you. i have always been someone who gets scared easy with this stuff, while my sister is the one that likes horror things. But idk this looked...different. It felt different. Even with the jumpscares.
Maybe is the fact that is about animation or that the characters arent exactly meant to scare you. But im also glad that i found about this game. And im happy that my sharing make you enjoy it as well
Watching childhood shows with a keener eye, appreciating the warmth of the characters and the fascinating elements all the same <3
