hi hello !!! i am hosting a raffle in celebration of hitting 2k+ followers on instagram and 500+ followers here on tumblr !!! below are the details for the raffle (i know its a lot, but at least skim through it if possible!):
OUTLINE:
Just so we are all on the same page, a raffle is an event where people can enter for a chance to win a prize. Winners are drawn from a pool of names at random, meaning it is based entirely on chance!
This will be hosted both on Instagram and Tumblr, where there will be 3 winners drawn from either platform; two separate pools. Across both platforms, there will be 6 total winners. The entry period of the raffle will be February 5th to February 15th; 10 days. After the entry period ends, no new entries will be accepted.
RULES:
Please only enter on one platform. This is either Instagram or Tumblr — you can only choose one. If I notice you have entered in both, only one entry will be counted.
No burners/alternate/bot accounts allowed. Please only enter on one account only. If I suspect you are using an alternate account, I will either DM you or reply to your comment.
Please have respect. This goes for the two aforementioned rules; let everyone have a fair chance. As well, please do not be jealous or spiteful to the winners. Basically: just be a decent human being.
PRIZES:
There are two different tiers of prizes: “Standard” and “Special.” You can make your prize as specific as you want as long as it follows the guidelines presented. I’d appreciate it if you provided references and/or examples of my previous works to outline what you want!
[STANDARD PRIZE] A full-body illustration of 1-2 characters of your choosing, lined, coloured and shaded, with a basic background. If you choose to have only one character, you can get another fullbody OR 2 extra head/bust-shots of the same character! (loose) Examples:
[SPECIAL PRIZE] A scene of 1-2 characters in a setting of your choosing. lined, coloured, shaded, and rendered in a full environment. Examples:
*Please don’t ask for too much detail. The amount of detail should be no greater than the examples.
HOW TO ENTER:
A keyword will be given at the end of this post. You must reply to this post with the keyword included in the message to enter. People who are entered in the raffle will be put into a list in a post that will be continually edited to include all entries. The link to the list is at the top of this post! If you replied with the keyword and you’re not added to the list after some time, you may DM me to ensure you’re entered in.
HOW WINNERS WILL BE DETERMINED:
Winners will be selected after the entry period has ended. This will be done by spinning a wheel with all the entries listed on it. Whoever the wheel lands on will be considered a winner! As mentioned before, there are two separate pools being drawn from: the Instagram pool, and the Tumblr pool.
This is how it will work for each: There will be 3 total draws. The first two draws will get the standard prize, and the final draw will get the special prize.
IF YOU WIN:
I will tag you in a post along with what you have won. From there, I ask that you think of what you want your prize to be and DM me. If I do not hear from you in 4-5 days, I will reach out to you to remind you of your prize. If you still do not answer after a week has passed, I’ll select another winner in your place. I am willing to provide compensation if this happens, but you will not be receiving the full prize. Basically: just make sure you're available to DM me. The order in which I draw the prizes will be first-come-first-serve; the people who contact me first will be prioritized. Lastly, please be patient. I go to school and (somewhat) have a life away from my computer, so I can't work on the prizes 24/7.
