Another take at Marcy, it's been a long while scince I've drawn the space fam so I may give it another go soon. I don't feel much improvement in this one. I'm absolutely in love with her idea tho

I was fortunate to encounter this little wolf spider (Lycosidae) mom on some row cover in my garden. She’s carrying the sac of silk she spun around her eggs to protect them until they hatch. Then she’ll open it and they’ll ride around on her back for a while. If I’m not expecting them, spiders startle me, I’ll admit. But when the initial surprise wears off I like to take a good look at them and watch how they behave.
