“Alright. Can I at least have your green hat thing?”

Marcy hated, hated people who were older than her. People who ran the docks in Termina and assumed she was some Private’s daughter tagging behind daddy at work. Captains who tried to explain her own job to her, assuming she was too young to really understand what she was doing. Men who tutted at her pink dress and her long hair, and women who tutted at her breastplate and her combat boots.
She’d gotten into the Devas of the Acacia Dragoons on the fuel of her hate.
And she’d expected to hate them too. After all, Karsh and Zoah were both older than her, and had been Dragoons longer, and didn’t wear pink or ribbons--or anything really, in Zoah’s case, and Karsh’s fashion sense was so bad he couldn’t say crap to her. She had come into the Devas puffed up and ready to smack stupid grown ups where the sun don’t shine. And her very first impression had been right.
Karsh had laughed. Right in her face! Like he couldn’t believe a little girl could possibly be as strong as him. She’d opened her mouth to tell him off, like, right then and there, but the bigger brute stopped him instead.
“KARSH. STOP. I BELIEVE YOU ARE ANGERING HER.” He’d planted a ham-sized hand on Karsh’s shoulder, and Karsh had immediately shut up.
“Sorry, kid, I wasn’t laughing at ya! I swear!”
“Like, then what where you laughing at, exactly? Are you stupid and just figured out a joke someone told you yesterday, like, now?”
He started with that horse laugh again, and Marcy seethed, feeling her hackles rise.
“See, Zoah! I told you she’d make it in! She’s too much of a damn firecracker not to! You saw her fists--they match ‘er mouth punch-for-punch!” She froze, surprised, as Karsh slapped Zoah on the back, and Zoah stretched out a hand to her.
“WELCOME TO THE DEVAS, MARCY. WE LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU.”
“Yeah, kid! Welcome aboard!”
She still hated. She hated a lot. But she didn’t hate these two so much after all.

▮ ₪┆”Uh...?” Everything happened in a snap. The bright sun, the feel of grass, the familiar scents and sounds of the island. The sudden change in scenery from the futuristic ship dock to the peaceful island of Sindria would’ve been enough to shock anyone. But, “...Huh?”
This was all...real, wasn’t it? And that Game...they’d all managed to actually beat it together, too, right? Not just him and Ja’far, but everyone. The prince couldn’t help but almost stumble up to his feet from the ground at the thought; slowly drinking in all the sights and sounds of what he’d grown accustomed to before being jerked into that death game.
“...We actually did it. This time for sure.” his voice started as a mumble, gradually growing louder until his emotions forced the words into a an overjoyed yell. “Those missions, are finally over for good!”
Alibaba gave a turn at that, quickly scanning the scenery in front of him for the palace before letting excitement fuel his rush back to the castle. “—Hey, Ja’far! We made it! We’re back home!” Aladdin and Morgiana, too! They’d never believe the stories he’d have to tell from what all he’d been forced through. But, still...one thing was for certain
No way was he ever letting something like that drag him away from this place again.

Slowly moving backwards to Kaj's side, Ja'far grabbed the flashlight from his pocket. Alright. Maybe he could use this! There was a ton of space behind the Xenos. Leaning over, Ja'far pointed his finger at the alcohol his partner had, then pointed at the flashlight. To offer a bit of a distraction, the man threw one dart off towards one of the side paths, this time seeing if it could distract them. Just to buy a little more time.
The drones completely ignored the dart as it flew off in a direction, their targets the only thing on their mind, and when they got within range, they slashed their claws.
Day 7: The World Begins
Kaj’s body, his real body, gasped in a breath of air as he was released from the pod. Holy hell. This felt real. He hadn’t noticed exactly how the sensations in the Game had differred from sensations in the real world, but this felt real.
He barely had any clothes on, though the temperature seemed to be fine. His body was... almost dry. That gel he’d been in seemed to have some interesting properties.
His train of thought was interrupted as the pod on the other side of the room opened as well, releasing someone else. His eyes darted around the room, figuring that they wouldn’t need any help being disoriented for a bit. His clothes were right there. And his dagger. And his gun. Hell yes.
As he began putting his clothes on, his attention returned to the other body. That was one of the Reapers. The one that looked like his first Partner. “Hey, Reaper. You awake already?”

Seeing the Pigdachi run through Adventureland, Ja'far attempts to snatch it from above, aiming to hold onto it with a tight grip.
“SHIT! Get going, kid! We’ve got something coming at us from above!”
The pig shifted around in the backpack, as if to tell Asriel to start running. Otherwise they’d be in big trouble!
Pigdachi and Asriel are now in Main Street USA, near the statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse.
