Hey Tumblr!

My kid is really struggling with the gross and toxic “big bad wolf” narrative surrounding wolves. This is really troubling and frustrating, not just because he’s scared of big dogs that look like wolves (and even just pictures of wolves), but because if he sees [even a picture of] a wolf he’ll call it “Bad Wolf!” 

This breaks my [and my partners’] heart as someone really devoted to their conservation, but treasure their presence from a cultural facet as well. 

Other than the Balto movies and the book “A Way Home For Wolf” By Rachel Bright (and Illustrated by Jim Field!), do y’all have suggestions for wholesome wolf good guys?
