I lost Lucy last week. My time with her was all too short. She was one of the sweetest dogs I've ever known. She got along with everyone - was basically chill with everyone. She was a rescue who had been abandoned with 8 puppies. There are lots of animals who need homes - whose lives depend on people willing to make them a part of their family, a part of their home. It's never easy to loose a loved pet, a loved part of the family but the pain can be balanced, at least to some extent, by making their days better by caring for them - and cherishing the love they return for your caring.
