In memoriam: I learned earlier that my sister Jane’s dog Coco died overnight in Canada. Coco was a cherished member of the family and was a sweet, wise and gentle soul. She lived to be fourteen and had a great quality of life. Here I am with Coco way back in 2012 on a visit to Canada. (You’ll notice her paws look green-ish: the grass had just been cut, and Coco had been playing outside).
