So, I was looking to read one of my favorite fanfics the other day, “The Legend of Zelda: The Rebirth” by @rosezemlya​, and I realized something:

This story was published, or started, in 2001. I was THREE.

One of my favorite fanfictions of ALL TIME was created before I could even read.

Good gravy, I didn’t even realize.

I don’t know how I found it in the last few years, but I somehow I did. I am glad I did. It makes me see more that there really is more to the world than I once thought.

I once thought fandoms and fanfictions were only new to the last 5 or 10 years, and now I wonder about the older fanfics of some of my favorite shows, books, movies, or games. What legends do I not know about?

I don’t know, but it’s cool to see the world is still getting bigger than I once thought.
